I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

First System: Amiga 500 First Game: Dungeon Master

First system was the atari 2600... the only two games I had on it were Pong and Space Invaders. I found my first cheat on space invaders where you could slightly pull out the cartridge and have the equivelant of auto fire rather than semi auto. First game I properly got into was Super Bomberman on the Atari. Then there were all the Sonic, Fifa and F1 games on my first Mega Drive! :D Everquest, though.... yeah, that ruined me haha! 72hr LAN parties ftw!

Mario 64, came out a year before I was born so we grew up together.

While this thread has found some success in #Destiny, it does belong in #Gaming. Also, been gaming since the early 80s...

First system was technically PC, played the crap outta Wolfenstein 3D. I was around 5 years old I think. Then my parents got me a PS1, played Medal of Honor all the time. Then my Grandfather introduced me to Xbox with Halo CE, haven't looked back since.
