What Is Everyone's First Game and System?
I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

My first game was Mortal Kombat II on the genesis. I was like 6 and I snuck in my older brother's room to play it. As for the first system I owned, it was a n64 with Pokemon Snap.

Ps2. I forgot the first game, though. The one I mainly played was Lego Star Wars.

My first console was a Playstation, where basically all I played was Need 4 Speed: Hot Pursuit and some fishing game, as well as the classic Twisted Metal.

Mario 64 was my first game I played when I was just 2 or 3 years old. To this day it's still one of my favorite games of all time and I still occasionally play it working on getting 120 stars. I'm at 112 right now I believe. I'll get it someday :')

Sega Master System II was the first one I owned. Came with Alex Kidd built in and Sonic 2. I remember playing my cousin's Atari though before/during that time as well. Early to mid 90's I guess it was. Because I had a PS1 by 1997 and my brother and I played Tekken 2 and Abe's Oddysee over and over again replaying the same parts because we didn't have a memory card lol.
