Well the good news is it not "hacks" to networks rather just disruption of servuce attacks. The fact they went after 5 major companies and made an official claim of a bomb threat now has prompted nsa and fbi to investigate. Many say they can consider it a terroist attack wether it just a prank or not. Having said that does explain why fbi is rather quite about these attacks and so called threats. If they are just trolling they may have made a rather flawed descision to taunt the fbi and nsa.

Why would a group of terrorist do a stupid stunt like this? I can't help shake the feeling that it's a group of stupid kids or crazy people that wanted to die but wanted to be know as the infamous group called The Lizard Squad.

Plus why would terrorist use the tag "PC MASTERACE". Their a bunch of pissed off jerks. I agree with the message ..."Sony, Microsoft, Blizzard, ect charges too much money for services..." Was taking down the network a way to punish the big companies? The answer is a resounding NO. They should have went after COMPANY money, not my personal info. Hit THEM where it hurts, not me.

Truthfully we wont know the entire story, but I agree a simple ddos attack to gaming network sights would not seem to be an interest of a militant faction. My opinion is someone or group riding the coat tails of attention being brought in news about isis as it is the current chaoctic group making a name for itself. Imo, whomever is doing it, they feel untouchable and garner a need for public attention to foster their lack of self esteem. The funny thing is they claim fbi and nsa cannot do anything to them because of quote "zero physical evidence." The nsa and fbi does not need actual physical evidence when a terriositic threat has been made. All they managed to do is put themselves under their target sights, which honestly who knows, maybe they want to be arrested for the notirighty.
