Atari 2600...the first games were tanks, a racing game and some kind of shooter. I can't remember the names of them. My dad bought it and brought it home and "let" me watch while he played. "Come on, lemme play daddy". "In a minute, watch this". lol

Tanks? two tanks in a maze, one on one PVP. If its the same game, that would have been the Combat cartridge. It also had the 'biplane' game, where you take off from the ground and dogfight in the air. Outside of Pong, that was my first proper introduction to competitive play.
