I think you have more of a personal preference to the Gun Slinger rather than looking at the pors and cons of other guardians. Not that that is a bad thing. If you love Gun Slinger good on you. I feel the same way. But, I play with all guardians. Hunter is just my favorite :-)
Had a 1.87 KDR with my Hunter...
a 2.27 KDR with my Warlock...
and a 1.75 KDR with my Titan...
Miss them already.
