As a PS3 or X360 user, would you choose to play cooperatively and competitively with next gen console users in your network, if the option was made available to you?
Feel free to share the reasons for your choice in the comments, if you wish.
“I’ll speak for the hypothetical player,” Wolfson explains. “I have a disadvantage sniping across the map because [my opponent with a next-gen console] is only two pixels on my screen and I’m four pixels on his. You see that in the world of PC gaming, where people are always racing to the best video card to give themselves the advantage.”

“Regardless of where the reality is, there’s definitely a perception among gamers that better hardware means you have an advantage. We don’t want to have to enter that fray, so to create the best, most level playing field, both actually and perceptually, we separated it by platform.”
Source: Digital Trends
If you've got thoughts on this as a PS4 or XB1 user, I'd be interested to hear about that as well. Would it bother you to have opponents and team mates using 360 or PS3 consoles?

Id appreciate the ability to play with PS3 users. About half the people I know cant afford the upgrade, and not being able to play with them makes me :( I wrongly believed for quite a long time that we were already able to cross-gen play. Not sure where I got that idea. And, honestly, Im so bad at PvP, last gen players would humiliate me just as much as other PS4 players. Pixels would not save me.
