Waiting is actually the best part. It builds your hype to unbelievable levels you didn't even know it could reach. Its kind of stupid to accept and believe, but its true. Also not actually playing and making up things that you think would be cool, and then playing it and feeling bummed its nothing like you think. But you're still pretty damned excited...even more excited because its fun as hell.
