I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

I actually played Pong on the original game system. My brother was 9 years older then i was. So i got hooked on video games early. Then there was tank battle and air command..then the atari 2600 the 5200,colleco vision, intellevision, the sega dreamcast, sega genesis, the jaguar, the neo-geo, the playstation 1 and 2 and then xbox, xbox 360, xbox one. Those are all the systems i have owned and played. Going back there was a dungeon type text only ansi game i played on a tandy 1000. Heck I even ran a local BBS before the Internet.....lol thats a ton being that i am only 18 years old.......cough cough.
