Hey I'm not sure which next gen console to get
My reasons to get xbone: my friends are getting it
Halo set is coming
I prefer the controller
Ps4 : destiny exclusives
ps4 controller is nice
Ps4 is generally better
I'm so undecided

PS4 is the way to go,its fully dedicated to gaming and more powerful than Xbox one,looks nicer,runs faster,and all the games are at 60fps,what more could a gamer need,Oh and don't forget Project Morphius.

I didn't know that they finally upgraded Battlefield 4 to 60 fps that's great. If you look at the systems exclusive titles which system is coming out with more multiplayer titles? If you ask me that is where most gaming is going. So which system and network is better for doing that and which one is still trying to catch up?

TBH who's getting what isn't the way to go,its time that PS gamers,PC gamers and Xbox gamers were able to play against each other,the technology is there and in place,but unfortunately some of the people that create the consoles are too greedy and want exclusive after exclusive to endorse their consoles,let's face it we're all gamers so why fight amongst eachother.

Really???so why can't XBox players play against PC gamers like we can on PS4???War Thunder is a prime example and the up coming Project Cars is the same,fact of the matter is that people can play their games on whatever system they want,BUT,when people ask for an opinion I will opt for PS4 OR PC(That's right,I have a high end gaming PC as well) over Xbox every time,that doesn't give you the right to slate me for my opinion,let's face it,everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if people ask for it they can have mine,everyone's is different.

Xbox 360 was able to play against PC already so don't even say that the One can handle it. The problem was Final Fantasy was charging a monthly fee and xbox gamers didn't want to pay extra. Playstation is once again trying to make it look like they are the first at something and ignoring that little thing called facts.

How have they opted out of it? Borderlands 2 wanted to cross platform with Xbox 360 and PS3 but Sony wouldn't go for it. So when it comes to Xbox and PS I think Xbox is more willing to cross platform than PS. So you saying they have opted out this early is just someone being uninformed.

ATM PS4 players can play against PC players but not XBone players,Sony opted in to the cross platform gaming project yet Microsoft are digging their heels in with the XBone despite all the tech to do it being in place,even Nintendo have opted in.

I was just wondering why any company would opt out of a potential source of income. They may not have found the right developer for them.

Exclusivity is usually not the developer. Like in Destiny it is not Bungie that is giving the exclusives it is Activision. Just like CoD with Xbox exclusives Activision is behind that also.

Maybe it companies like Activision that are preventing the full implimentation of this in order to get more money,without their exclusives they make a lot less money,if cross platform gaming was fully rolled out they would find it harder to offer exclusives to just one platform when they are work and play together.

Just need developers to get big enough that the can take care of there product from start to finish and then get the system makers on board with the concept and not compete.

Yep,the console war started back in the early 80's and seems to gaining more momentum the more consoles advance,to be honest I think full unity is at least a decade away.

How can you say that? Everyone said the same about the PS3 and the 360 and look what happened. Microsoft made the needed changes to make a better product where PS just sat around and waited to see what Xbox would do. Now in the current generation they are still trying to copy what Microsoft has done online with sub par results.
