I've played the new ones because of my little brother, but purchased them I have not. Also my post said nothing about not playing a COD, it only say's I wouldn't preorder it.

To be honest, if MY life depended on pre-ordering it I would definitely do so. I mean I wouldn't play it as I'd have a negative association with the game after the threat of death. Without doubt however I would pre-order and live.
