Bungie stated each area (exploration) was as big as Halo Reach?

Well there were areas that they tried desperately to prevent people from going to in the beta (thanks to level "??" enemies), and I'm pretty sure there are some areas in the tower that were blocked off. The way I see it we won't know if that's true or not until the release.
