Got a quick question (prolly a dumb one) I see a lot if people posting about already joining clans how is it your joining clans already without DESTINY even being out yet ?

Yeah I just looked it up there's a TON of clans already formed with literally 10s of thousands of people in various clans and groups I think until now I slightly underestimated how huge this thing has become and will be.....one word comes to mind.....EPIC.....

You can join them and get to know each other just when Destiny is released you have to rejoin the clan because the servers reset.

One reason is so they can plan events that they want to do the fist day such stike teams or multiplayer

Clans can link to your Gamertag/ID. You can create or join them here on the site by clicking groups/clans but I've heard that there are some problems with managing them. Usually a clan has membership who represent their clan in more than one game, so you can join one of those as well.
