There are tons of games that get special things based on if you played other games, like in Mass Effect 3 how you could have a battlefield style character if you played bf3, or in battleblock theater how you could play as alien homnid or one of the knights from castle crashers if you had played one of those games, this is pretty similar to that concept. It's just a small gimmick for a slight incentive.

No no no. That is still giving you something for the game you bought. What i'm saying is that it's giving you something for a game that you have to buy seperately. To me, it is waaaay different and just doesn't seem logical

Edited by ManBearPigIets: 8/28/2014 2:24:00 AMI see it the same. If I bought and played battlefield 3, it gave me armor in mass effect. If I pre order call of duty aw, it gave me a color in destiny. The one that involves a full purchase (the ones I've mentioned) are ones you have to buy separately, all you have to do for the call of duty one is pre order it you don't even have to commit to the purchase.
