My understanding is yes, one year from release. Apparently Microsoft didn't want to pay enough to get the content sooner, or Sony payed more to keep the content exclusive for a longer amount of time, that is my guess. Bungie or Activision has to turn a profit as well, not sure who the exclusive rights are retained by. Rest assured Bungie still loves us all, they are just having to deal with the big dogs in the industry so thus things get complicated with the console wars. Best bet if you want things sooner, as a community you have to go to Microsoft or Sony respectively and tell them what you want. They are the best lobbyist with the most influencing pocket books in the industry. Hope this was helpful.
