I think youre forgetting the whole "you actually have to pay for a game you won't game when it comes out" thing.

You don't have to buy the game when it release it though. Once you input the code for the shader or whatever it is, just go back to GameStop and cancel the preorder and get your $5 back.

Yeah I do but if I think about it, this was probably Activision trying to lure people into their game. If they weren't pulling the strings Bungie might've made this a preorder bonus but who knows.
