The DDoS attacks weren't "hacks", they were just overloading the servers. They did it to Battlenet and it was back up in no time. They did it to Twitch and pretty much failed. They did it to Live and it didn't work. They did it to Sony and only took PSN down for a few days. It's true, these assholes need to -blam!- off, but DDoS is not the same as hacking. It's also worth mentioning that if Bungie had implemented dedicated servers into Destiny's PvP, there would be very little concern in regards to hackers, but since Bungie are running P2P, hacking will be more prevalent - the lag, too.

  • You literally linked the DDoS attacks to common in-game hacking with zero clarification as to what you meant. You essentially said that the hackers need to be brought to justice, but then went on to inform people of the DDoS attack. There was no need to be condescending about it, but you weren't very clear as to what you meant, nor did you convey that you had a solid grasp on the difference between DDoS and blatant hacking, either.

  • I didn't say they were hacks,I said that it was down to hackers, they need to hack peoples pc's in order to send the info to clog up the networks, they use them as bots,I do wish you would read what I have posted correctly before commenting,I am more than well informed about this,so in essence it IS down to hackers, believe it or not you can get hackers to launch a prolonged cyber attack for as little as $150,in order to do it computers need to be hacked to send the info, please do your homework.
