The DDoS attacks weren't "hacks", they were just overloading the servers. They did it to Battlenet and it was back up in no time. They did it to Twitch and pretty much failed. They did it to Live and it didn't work. They did it to Sony and only took PSN down for a few days. It's true, these assholes need to -blam!- off, but DDoS is not the same as hacking. It's also worth mentioning that if Bungie had implemented dedicated servers into Destiny's PvP, there would be very little concern in regards to hackers, but since Bungie are running P2P, hacking will be more prevalent - the lag, too.
