I REALLY don't know what to do
So there is this kid at my school that my "friends" hate and earlier today my "friends" started planning on jumping him.
They started talking about things to do and stuff and at first I thought they were joking so I was laughing and stuff and then I found out they actually want to assault him.
They start getting ME involved and I said there is no way in hell I'm doing this, and they started getting mad at me because I don't want to hurt an innocent man.
They don't even know the guy completely, they hate him just because of how he acts in class. This guy hasn't done anything towards them at all. All they know is that he's annoying.
So now they have this grudge against me because I don't want to break the law, honestly I don't care about that grudge, but I'm worried they might hurt him. They could possibly blame me or something.
I cant even tell cops because there is no evidence at all to support me, and they'll probably come for me when they find out I told police soooo I need advice guys :/
Edit -> These guys are just a bunch of pussies, the only thing they do is go on Twitter and talk shit about EVERYONE. One of them is some EXTREME lazy guy and the other guy is just his yes man, this jumping might be the first thing they do. The only thing I'm worried about is the guy who they plan on jumping and MY safety, if they he caught theres a chance I'm being blamed here sooo.

Let the other kid know, and get help from a teacher, cop, or bigger kid.

First find new friends. Those are people you should not associate with. Second is I would warn the kid they plan on jumping, hell if you talk to the guys and he seems cool maybe you might become friends with him. You don't need to tell cops if there is no evidence but tell some of the higher authorities I.E teachers, school police, dudes parents, ect. If you wish to remain anonymous type up a letter and leave it with that person or where they will find it. If these guys are as pussie as you say and are worried for your safety first question. If worst comes to worst can you take one on in a fight? If yes you should be good because they may be intimidated by you. Something else to remember is an old saying, tread lightly and carry a big stick. Just be carful and arm yourself with a pepper spray or something. If out of school a knife with a blade of under 4" is legal to vary around. You don't have to use it as it can scare them off but if you need to defend yourself then do so. If you do defend yourself don't swing first. Wait till they swing and 1- avoid it if you can or 2- take the hit in your less dominant shoulder to take as little damage as possible. Hope this passes over without violence and I wish you all the luck in the world.

They sound like a bunch of pussies. I would tell the kid they're planning on jumping him and get new friends, because your 'friends' are -blam!-ing cowards. Or tell your friends to stop being pussies and just elect whoever was the one who started all this 'jumping' business to go up to the kid face to face and tell him they are going to fight, give him a minute to get himself ready, and then fight like a man. Tl:dr- your friends are pussies. Do something about that.

Beat the shit out of them. If one of my friends said things like that to me I would punch them in the face and tell them to get the -blam!- out of here. I would be so pissed off. I would go and tell the kid so he knows too.
