It's just activision cross promoting their games. They are just trying to boost sales for cod by riding the destiny hype wave. I know it can be unlocked through normal play, but does it state that anywhere?

It's listed as an available shader. But no shaders mention how they can be obtained. So... This may be an exclusive item for only the few who get it.

I'm not sure it can be unlocked. Generally they mention that if it is a timed exclusive in the "bonus content" posting.
