I'll pre-order CoD, redeem the code then go back to gamestop and change my pre-order to one of the new Pokémon games.

I am just going to ask for the code. They will probably give it to me without the preorder.

The code is printed on the pre-order receipt so unless they have some pre printed receipts you will need to pre-order to get it.
