I've heard in rumors that PSN and XBL users will be able to play cross-console/cross-company with each other. I do not know if this is confirmed or true but if someone does know, please let me know (preferably a Bungie employee).

Hell no! Screw xbox bitched.
-
-
No. Different servers
-
Bungie said they aren't going to support cross platform play due to the need to have added security on all the aervers to do so, in which if they did allow it they would have to do a subscription fee which is what they want to avoid
-
Um. No.

Edited by H0TWAD: 8/30/2014 9:05:21 AMAbsolutely, its very easy to do. #buyaplaystation4

No. Sony has most of the market. It would be a disadvantage to them to allow xbox players to play with PS players, as a big selling point of Destiny is buying it on the system everyone else is playing on.

No, but man I wish this was true
-
Not possible, microsoft and Sony would never do that. It would be cool and could possibly let you play with friends on a XB1 when you rather play on a PS4, but it'll never happen.
-
They did try to make it happen. The offer was put on the table, many times in fact. Microsoft didn't want to join in. This has happened in many other cases with many other games as we'll. I support all gaming types in fact I have the sunset overdrive xbox one preordered, and 3 copies of destiny pre-ordered for all of you out there who think I'm just a play station fanboy (1 ghost edition for ps4, 1 limited edition for the 360, & one normal copy for the xbox 1) Do a little research and you'll see the facts. Microsoft is scared of a merger for gameplay.

Its not possile with Destiny but I really wish companies would do it more often. Final Fantasy XI was cross platform between PC, PS2 and Xbox 360. But thats because PlayOnline completely webt around Xbox Live, and PSN wasnt a thing yet back on PS2.
-
Ok...if this was true what do you think would happen? It would be all out war no one would be safe...

You sir
are retarded
Edited by Scrub8247: 8/30/2014 9:30:26 PMNever in a million years...You can't even play xbox 1 with the 360 users much less Playstations...

Deej has said... definitely not. Even different generations of the same brand cannot play with each other. This means PS3 and PS4 cannot play with each other and neither can Xbox 360 and Xbox One. What you CAN do is a one time offer of upgrading your Guardians from PS3 to PS4 or Xbox 360 to Xbox One. Other than that... you are walled away.

Maybe if we Praise the sun hard enough.... just maybe \|T|/ *PRAISING INTENSIFIES*

Sure, when they port it to Nintendo 64 and the Atari...
No.
-
We have never been able to play cross-platform, why would it change now? Makes no sense.
-
Yep...It's possible.
All you need is and xbox a playstion 2 tv, cables and such 2 copy's of the game and room for your friend to sit next to you.
No.The rumor is false.

To do so would mean that both Microsoft and Sony allow such interaction, which Isn't very likely.
