I feel as if now is the time to share something I did a long time ago. Back in April of 2013 during my charcoal intensive classes at the Art Institute, I had the idea of drawing the Destiny logo while in my Observational drawing course. The idea didn't fit any project criteria, so I did it on the side. This project would eventually be the first of many 'Symbol Re Creation' projects, with others including Assassins Creed, Assassins Creed Black Flag, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, Master Chief, TDWP Band Logo, and many others. At the time most of my facebook friends didn't really know what the symbol was. One of them even thought it was a uterus... I don't blame them though, Destiny wasn't well known at the time, and Bungie had just put out the first reveal trailer only a few months before. I figured this community would appreciate this much more than anyone else. Also, I'm thinking of putting it in a poster frame and auctioning it at the gamestop midnight release. Still unsure if I will or not, simply because I don't have a good idea of whether or not someone would buy it. Post in the comments how much you'd pay for the artwork. My highest commissioned project sold for $220 so I'm curious to hear your answers. PS: no, I'm not looking to sell it online
