Played, haven't beaten, not stuck though.
I'm only at the Undead Parish, near the first Blacksmith. I've finally really gotten a hold of this game, and I'm really enjoying it so far.
I think I did a little too much grinding, though... I'm level 24! LOL!

Level 24 in the Undead Parish for your first playthrough is actually pretty normal, since that's where you get used to the game's many, many mechanics. I wouldn't be shocked if you were in the 150-200 range by the time you finish.

I kept my level low the first time, because I liked being summoned to help with bosses. Probably made the game a bit harder than it had to be, but it certainly made praising the sun a lot easier!
