Moderation on this website is a joke.

#Gaming is constantly filled with people asking us to join their dumb Fireteam or their shitty clan. Why don't any of the useless Mentors or Mods do their job and move that crap to the correct sub-forum (either #Destiny or #Clans) where they belong? Yet when a thread is made in #Destiny that doesn't belong there, it is moved pretty quickly to the correct sub-forum.

  • a couple things here Lemon, First, I think forums are pretty much open water and it's quite easy to just move around the stuff we don't want. I'd think threads placed into the wrong forum would fall off the page quickly because nobody would respond to them. I mean, you don't walk in a straight line and just run into the stuff in your way and ask, "who put this table here and why is it in my walkway." Or maybe you do, but I think that's silly. Just move around the stuff. Secondly, when it comes to the gaming forum, I don't think it has the biggest presence of volunteers. Which in a way I like, because gaming takes care of itself. But to get this subject off of the volunteers "not doing their job" and back onto us doing ours, I'd like to offer an idea. When it comes to forum mistakes by new members not placing threads into the proper forum categories, I feel that we need to be the bigger member and stop bumping the threads with "Wrong Forum FooL", #otherforum, and other quite rude and unnecessary things. The fix, we certainly shouldn't report threads that need to be moved, hiding them don't seem right either, so I propose a "Move this" button that could alert the mentors to threads that would do better in other forums. Namely #Clans and #Destiny. The problem with that, of course, is there are going to be a lot of these mistakes going forward. There is just so much that trying to control a website that is going to move rather quickly going forward is pretty silly. The easiest fix is to move around the threads and not take forums as some straight line, #alltopics master race, bro. I expect more from the gaming forum community than ranting about forum hashtag errors. Just go to the next proper topic you can find and "bump" or discuss that thread therefore moving the correct subjects to the top and burying the forumtag mistakes. Super easy and not stress inducing. By,the way, should this be in #Bungie or #Community ?
