Requiem was the very first Shield World, it is comprised of a series of layers of concentric shells - think like Russian dolls where each one has a smaller one inside.

Okay, but what about the destabilization though? Shouldn't that have been more important than getting the Infinity out of Requiem?
-
Not particularly. The inner-most Dyson shell was "destabilised" when the Ur-Didact moved his Cryptum through slipspace, the rest of the planet remained unaffected.
-
Only the core was destabilized.

But surely the core is essential though, no? Why have it if you don't need it?

Edited by Mr Admirals7044: 9/6/2014 2:01:55 AMThe core was simply the last concentric shell. It was destabilized making it very dangerous, however the other shells can maintain themselves.

Alright, cool. Thanks!
