I just did a live support chat with Sony Playstation to see if since I bought the digital copy for the PS4 already, would the offer work in reverse. Me: I have already purchased the digital version and expansion pact bundle for the PS4 Me: The offer is for a free upgrade when you by it on the PS3 Me: Since I have already purchased it for the 4, can I cancel the order and buy it on the PS3? Or will this be offered in reverse as well? Luis A.: Please wait while I research this for you. Luis A.: What we can do in this case is offer to you a refund for the pre order, let me remind you that the refund would take up to 3-5 business days to be done and you will receive the refund into your wallet when the refund is complete. Me: So, the offer is not backwards compatible? Luis A.: I do apologize but unfortunately the promotion is only to upgrade the PS3 version to the PS4 console. Luis A.: Do you want to request the refund? Me: Is the Bundle for 89.99 on the PS3? Luis A.: I do apologize but unfortunately that Bundle is only to the PS4 system. Me: Then I guess I will stay with what I have. This is a very Unfair, and Unfortunate promotion for those of us who has supported Destiny from an early start. I am not very happy right now.
