Hey, I need some help with a dilemma I'm facing. So I have 2 PS3 consoles and 1 PS4 console in my house that me and my brothers play on. I was originally planning on buying just 1 copy on PS4 that I preordered for $30 off, but with the upgrade announcement, I'm now considering purchasing the Digital Guardian Edition for PS3 and upgrading to PS4 as well as transferring to my other PS3.
I usually play on Xbox, so I'm not too familiar with the way game licenses and accounts work on PlayStation, but perhaps some of the PlayStation players here can help me out.
Now from what I understand, you can have 2 active systems per PS3 account, so I can theoretically play Destiny on one PS3 while my brother plays it on the other PS3. source
However, I have some questions:
1) Will I be able to play on ALL accounts on the PS4, or only on my account? (this is a deal-breaker)
2) We know that the upgrade lets you retain the license on both PS3 and PS4. But can you play on both at the same time? (on different accounts obviously)
3) If I do the upgrade, can I still play on both PS3s simultaneously? (again. on different accounts obviously)
Thanks!
