38 private messages and 4 notifications, almost all of which are group walls and people asking to join groups I'm in, none of it I actually care about. And I last signed in yesterday.
This is like when you leave your cell phone for an hour or two to charge and come back to find 72 text messages, all from group chats, none of which mean anything to you.
It's mind boggling that this was ever implemented this way in the first place, but the fact that it's been this way for this long without any way to shut off is insane. This needs to be fixed so that the only notifcations I'm getting are replies and likes, and the only messages I'm getting are actual messages.
Enough already.

I thought people liked me... then it was just group chats... :(

Enough is enough! I have had it with these mother-blam!-ing notifications on this mother-blam!-ing forum!

BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.) In settings, under notifications, you can change what notifications you receive and do not receive. ENDING TRANSMISSION:

Even as a group admin, getting notifications every time someone requests to join is agonizing because I already check the queue on a regular basis, and though I don't mind wall chat so much, maybe we move it to its own little section, away from PMs? I think the features are good, but the amount of notifications I'm getting are breaking my phone.

Edited by KingInTheNorth: 9/9/2014 12:28:37 AMI'm pretty sure admins can deactivate the group wall notification function. So if you could go ahead and do that, that would be great.

The true suffering has yet to begin....

The site has become unbearably slow for me since they introduced the group chat in notifications. Hell, I had to type this post out twice because the cursor lags behind about 2-3 seconds

I'll stop sending you messages if you just let me in, Halo!

This is the first time Mythic Members has posted publicly... I feel naked.

Yeah what the -blam!-.

I haaate group text messages. As far as the groups wall goes I'm starting to like it. I haven't posted this most in a while.

Edited by Tom T: 9/8/2014 10:35:23 PMIt's a good concept that is going to really help this group get together over the next few days. The execution hasn't been great, but I'm glad they shipped it in time for Destiny, rather than postponing it until it's fully functional. Edit: Oh, we're live on the air? What happened to flagging the threads that are public?
