Well, that was fun! I spent a good 3 or so hours last night in a fireteam with Sh4doW Ph0en1X and Z0mBieSlaYeR38 (when he wasn't being hampered by connectivity issues) and had an absolute blast, thanks guys. I think I'm starting to find my feet and get used to what's going on. Hopefully I'll be able to hook up with some more of you guys tonight. My female Awoken warlock is just at level 6 but I'm more than happy to re run some of the early stuff tonight if that suits. A couple of tips that may be useful to new starters: - Go back to the tower between each mission. I totally forgot about this. Usually after each mission there'll be something you can cash in for some loot. I only headed back there after a the three hours and saw I had a tonne of stuff, including all the heavy weapons etc. Some of the gear I had earned had even been superseded by stuff I had got for later missions. I also think it unlocks different things on the map. - If you have the bonuses for DGE or similar and have preloaded you have to go in an manually kick off the install. Again I forgot about these and only saw that they were still queued when I was shutting down. I suspect they'll not be much use now as I've levelled up a bit. Cool.
