Have they fixed the baboon error fiasco yet?

I've got a new marketing theory for these broken-launch games: Anyone who buys the game on the first week should get a $20 discount, because they know it won't actually work.

1 ReplyThey took the time to create these error names ( and i have got around 50 different ones) but didn't take the time to expect for this kind of thing? I have spent far more time signing in and out of the game than actually playing. I can't get 3 minutes without some stupid animal error popping up. i could have bough so many more useful things that bring joy to my life intend of extreme anger for 65 dollars.

Edited by Ulysses1922: 9/13/2014 1:00:19 AMFirst 2 days I had no problems.. Now every time I get on it crashes within 3-5 minutes and I've gotten the error codes cattle, baboon, anteater, cloudberry and I think 1 centipede. I'm not on a campus or anything either.

1 ReplyNope, no they haven't. Lasted 2 minutes before a disconnect with both Baboon and Centipede. Long enough to visit one tower vendor. Whoohoo, totally worth $60! You know in some countries this kind of thing is called fraud...

Thought they had it fixed this morning, played for about three hours and no problems but as soon as I shut down and restarted I get baboon then centipede everytime I try to go anywhere. #FIXCENTIPEDE #FIXBABOON

1 ReplyIt is pretty ridiculous you drop 65$ for a game expecting a hell of a lot of fun and instead you get tortured by all your friends saying how awesome it is and you can't even make it out of the first level cuz you keep getting booted.

It's been 40 hours since release, that's an entire workweek worth of time for Bungie's huge and hopefully talented team to fix their network errors! I'm optimistic about being able to play successfully without Baboon errors when I get home in 2 hours! Of course, anything Bungie might want to SAY to confirm or deny that assumption would be helpful...................... (I haven't seen error message "crickets" yet)
