Public Events?

Has anyone else noticed a dearth of public events? In the whole time I've played I've encountered two, both on Venus within minutes of each other. Other than that: Nothing. Are they just crazy rare?

yep experienced the same thing - both on Venus and a couple of minutes apart....was pretty epic though Gold Tiered both of them
