How to post images on the Group Wall

This certainly isn't the only way to do this, but here is what I do: To get a screenshot from the game, use the Share button on the controller. From the Share screen you can choose to save the screenshot (to the PS4) or to actually share the picture on Facebook. I tend to share it on Facebook, but make sure it is only shared with me (not friends or public...this way I can get to the picture from my Facebook account, but it isn't blasted out to everyone to see). If you want to avoid Facebook altogether, you can do that as well, you will just need to use a USB thumb drive to transfer the image from the PS4 to your computer (or I suppose you could plug your phone in via USB and transfer it from the PS4 to the phone). All of this is done using the Capture Gallery on the PS4 main menu. Once you have the screenshot on your PC or phone, go to www.imgur.com and upload the image there. Once it is uploaded you will see some links that point to your image. You will need to copy the link that is labelled "Direct Link" (it will look like this: http://i.imgur.com/g157Zkq.png but it may end in .jpg or something else). Ignore the other links. If you want to be able to manage the images you upload to imgur, you can create an account, but it is not necessary. Copy this link and paste it on the Group Wall all by itself. If you include any text along with the link, it will still post the link, but the image won't load. Try it out. I haven't tried this fully on a phone yet, but it should work (the imgur upload may be more/less difficult...I might give it a shot and see how well it works). And of course you can host the image wherever you want...imgur is just free and easy and reliable.

  • Also, I used Photoshop to combine parts of a couple screenshots. Not really necessary, but just letting you know why mine sometimes look cropped, etc. I use an app called Snapseed on my phone to do similar things (it won't combine images, but you can crop and make adjustments to single images).
