delapug seems luckier than some of us will be. I've tried two different combo router/modems (Zyxel 660 and a Netgear N600) to no avail. I purchased a stand-alone TP-Link modem today, hooked it up to a $160 Netgear router, and tried again. Things were going great. I nearly played through my first game without any hint of lag or warnings about connecting to the Destiny servers. Respawns were instant. Then, as soon as the game gives the signal that we're about to win, I'm kicked with error code Bee.
This is extremely frustrating. So I guess my options are to 1) move to some place with a different ISP, 2) file a grievance with the Microsoft store to get my $90 back, citing that Bungie was not honest regarding their network requirements, or 3) dispute the charge with my credit card company when option 2 fails.
