Better way to Loot

Just wondering if there is a better place to farm gear than the nexus. All I hear is people saying the crucible, but I suck at PvP :( And if there isnt a better place, I'm up for some nexus farming :D

Crucible is all luck based, and I just get too aggravated their. Nexus is da best.
