Exotic gear!
Anyone know if it's possible to get exotic gear without purchasing it from the weekend vendor?

1 ReplyEdited by ComputerAddict: 9/18/2014 8:52:47 PMI got an exotic chest piece last night called Voidfang Vestments. Apparently you can only wear one at a time. A message popped up saying that you can only wear one so choose wisely... I don't have two so I can't test this.

Short answer is yes. I did the first mission on the moon, and made it to where the hive come pouring out of the giant door, and after farming for about an hour I was able to get am exotic off of a legendary engram. If you go there just make sure not to kill the big guy, and don't be afraid to die to reset the spawn of them pouring out the door. It's a blast to do for an hour or so and grind loot hardcore

It's all about high level loot runs, at 25 you get nightfalls and I've seen people get exotics and as much as 7 strange coins for completing
