I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

Nah, hunters are
-
All classes are equally good

If anything the Titan is OP. Stryker class I roll with Armematarium those lightning grenades are OP. Defender is Helm of Saint 14...specifically for control/IB. Loadout of Hawkmoon, LDR, and whatever heavy you prefer. (In reality Hawkmoon is the only gun you ever need)

Your worse than u think. Every character can be used well.

Defender is best IMO.

Dmg wise And I'm sure someone will give you some numbers But hunters have the lowest Armor mid rec and high agi Warlocks have high rec mid armor and mid agi Titans have high armor mid agi an mid rec Yes? I have three hunters so I'm mostly spitballing based on crucible gameplay

I enjoy playing all 3 classes and prefer my Hunter; however, when I switch to my Titan, the kills in Crucible come easier. Shoulder charge + fist of havoc = easy mode. I play a lot of Control and always enjoyed a "run and gun" aggressive style in FPSers. The Titan class works well with my playstyle. Try different grenades to see what you prefer. Use lighting grenades on walls so they arc horizontally. Save your super when an enemy team begins to take a control node or when their heavy ammo is about to spawn and use Fist of Havoc.

Edited by VTBTE: 5/27/2015 8:43:01 PMWeapons of light is fun. A bubble on heavy ammo lets your team steam roll over everyone. A bubble while capturing a zone can be guaranteed kills. Don't just stay inside, hold the area down with a shotgun with good range. It seems to catch people off guard when you leave the bubble.

Lightning Grenades are amazing once you learn how to place them everywhere. Fist of Havoc takes care of Bladedancers, Sunsingers, Bubbles, and Golden Guns if you get the drop on them. Titan jump is my personal favorite. Embrace your inner Titan.

My Titan is my PvPrincess. Disagree.
-
Your just bad.

Hey thought I could weigh in for ya since I maim a striker titan in pvp. If you are looking for a good setup run aftermath with aftershocks and lightning grenade. Throw your lightning grenade in high populated areas usually against walls and after that just play tactical man. No need to run around like a chicken with your head cut off. Just play smart and don't put yourself in vulnerable positions. Hope this helps man. Good luck!

If a striker can charge at me with his super and survive two golden guns with no damage taken it can't be too weak.
-
Only class i completed the 9-0 with eventhough its my worst class, my hunter was my first to run and lost the first match right off the bat and ended going 9-1 and my warlock went 8-0 before i got disconnected and it counted as a loss
-
Yea they don't really have a lot of advantages over the other classes. But Titans are very help in PvE
-
Well I'm terrible wit a warlock
-
Depends on the player. I'm pretty good as a hunter in crucible but terrible as a Titan and warlock
-
Titan bubbles are best for control other than that use fist of havoc the rest depends on what guns you use and your skill
-
No. Hunters are actually the worst class.
-
To be honest I think the titans (if used correctly) are the most powerful. Some players just constantly kill me with the titan class, like for example one of my last games there was a level 18 titan versus my level 25 warlock, and he constantly kept killing me with melee and his shotgun. You could tell he knew the class inside and out.
-
It's all about primaries, not class
-
See I use striker without stupid shoulder charge crap and flashbangs. I don't think I'm that great at pvp (barring the last trials match I was conned into helping out on) but I do fine. Thorn only took like 4-6 matches, bad juju only took 8-9. On that note striker FoH is great for stopping supers :)

I main a Titan. I use striker in crucible and I do decent. I love the shoulder charge. If catch people around corners they won't have enough time to react even if the have a shotgun equipped. I use the armmentarium chest piece. (Probably not spelled right) The double grenades is awesome. I also use the Lightning grenade. The best part about that is you can corner people. And you will want to use a shotgun. Hope this helps.
