Are Titans the weakest in the Crucible, or am I just worse than I think?
I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

3 RepliesThey are the most underpowered for pvp. Really slow and don't have powers you can throw. Which is a serious disadvantage considering the other two classes have powers that can be thrown. Ward of Dawn needs a buff to make sure you can shoot out of it otherwise it's not very useful in pvp. Even though you can use it effectively.

Good sir im a titan my friend irl is also a titan and we wreck pvp XD i wouldn't consider titans the weaker class i've beaten down a whole team with shoulder charge and punching it has it's up and downs

5 RepliesTitan's are broken as hell in PvP. A OHK punch, an AOE super that instakills and leaves a burn on the ground, another super that regens their health and provides a shield, and tend to be so tanky that they out-duel anyone Shotgun to Shotgun. They need nerfing, because they dominate PvP hard.

2 RepliesTitan was a pretty strong class when I played the beta, and they have easy to get kills supers...the problem is probably how you play...I know a number of good FPS players who have not adjusted to Destiny yet, they play overly aggressive lone wolf style...

Im a titan lvl 25 and love it, and no lie, look trough my recent matches, im always on top or top 3 of every game! Hunters are the ones that get on my nerves but titan is for the strong and ones who know how to use him.

I think it all depends on the player. If you're a brilliant shot, and have a clever way of playing, I don't think class matters that much.

Me and my bro share a account I am a warlock and he's a titan he got shoulder charge and kills anyone in his way ( sorry to all that we have played.... Wifi sucks so bad some times so lag I can hit a team with nova bomb and nothing happens

I play as a Titan and we are at a slight disadvantage but if you have beter aim you'll win more gun fights.

LOL am I the only one who disagrees? im a titan, and im usually positive. weakest class? no way, its all about your build. sure you get killed by other classes, but all I hear from any class are that the other two are OP.

The titan is better in the objective based games where people gather around control points, relics, etc. You can get bigger groups with your super.

Use shoulder charge and grenades only. You'll be surprised at the effectiveness

Here's some of my day 1 highlights and this whole week has gone really good for me in the crucible and I play a Titan. I just had a game where I went 27-3, knowing the maps, weapons, and subclass are really important. Every class has it's advantages, just check out some guides and practice :) don't get discouraged! Play the crucible as much as you can, you'll get better!

My k/d would be higher but I did AFK crucible once to see if I'd get better gear. :( seems like the best class for crucible would be blade dancer. I've probably died the most from that class. Edit: I'm a penis, but people call me an asshole. both actually. Make up your minds. They both look entirely different.

They seem to be the worst going off the leaderboards. There is 1 titan in the top 25 players and the rest are hunters and warlocks.

10 RepliesIf anything Titan's are OP as -blam!-. I run a hunter and I feel constantly outmatched unless I run close quarters combat with a shotty. Pisses me off that the Warlock and Titan both get great melees and supers. I have to knife people at least twice to kill them and my oh so power golden gun actually has to hit the person to kill them instead of punching the goddamn ground and just killing everything within five miles.

It depends on you actually. Each class has a set of pretty annoying things they can do. Titan's just wreck in close maps. They can go tanky at any time and have access to a shotty. I just finished a match against a titan that dominated us. They are practically unkillable in cqc.

I play as a Titan. I don't think I've been out of the top 3 any of the games I've played. Except for when it's put me in a game a few points before it's over. So I guess to answer, no. I haven't had any problems with it haha

I play as Titan and I tried the crucible twice and I was completly out of my leauge, just didn't have the reflexs, those guys in there flying round like they are on wires, maybe because I have no experience.

Yeah I think you guys just suck, I play one game and do well and others get destroyed, depends on the weapons more I think

6 RepliesYou must be worse than you think because Titans are OP as hell in crucible. The two things that are most OP than anything right now & I immediately lose respect for players who use these are: Titan + Shotgun, you already have the most armour when it comes to a 1 vs 1 situation, why the hell you going to use the most OP gun too? Get some skill.. ffs Hunter subclass( Forget the name), their supercharge... So let me get this straight, you're going to camp all game until you have a super, then run out and get an automatic 4 or 5 kills from a ridiculous Super, something which takes 0 skill as you are basically drawn to each target, Smh... On a side note, the Titan main supercharge is ridiculous too... the ground pound with the blue shit everywhere. It kills people on different levels (as in ground floor, 1st floor etc) & you cannot jump over it, I have been killed a few times now trying to jump over it... So let me get this straight, people can jump over my warlock super, but i cant jump over their shit? gtfo! Regardless of that, nothing is worse than the shotgun users right now.

2 RepliesI say they are pretty balanced, the only thing that is Op atm is the Hunters and their crazy knife skills, that crap is terrifying. Makes the poor ol Titans and Warlocks cry. But really the lack of Titans online is kinda odd..
