I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

Edited by Ethanch7: 5/27/2015 12:01:20 PMYou have to play defeance with striker (lightning nades etc) and offensive with defeander (Bubble) just dont push titans cant push

Despite what any of the hunter fanboys say, titan is fun as hell. I run a high impact scout rifle, and have been using saw tooth oscillator as my heavy, and invective as my secondary. Striker with the new eternal warrior helm. I have an intellect build, so supers recharge fast. The setup is a riot, and, although I am not great, find success with it! Just keep grinding man.

In short? Yes, because the striker melee is a pitiful skill. However titans have the best grenades and IMO one of the best jumps outside of blink for PvP. Use a hand cannon for midair accuracy, glide/boost coming around corners, and take "better control while jumping" skill and tap it repeatedly for multiple boosts in mid air. Learn to run away, turn the corner, jump and do a 180, and shoulder charge the guy chasing you. It takes awhile to get good at titan in crucible because their skills are not based on traditional FPS concepts, whereas hunter supers/warlock melees are just better versions of mechanics that most FPSers are used to.

I've gone back to 2014.

I only run Titan in crucible. My tip for you is use overpowered weapons, because everyone else is going to. Might as well fight dirty if it gets you more wins than losses.
-
I invest equal time in all my characters. My hunter k/d is 1.24 Warlock 1.11 Titan 1.05 I think the hunter is easiest to use. Most nimble. Better reaction time.

Titans are epic in crucible, especially strikers
-
I do best on my hunter for whatever reason. whereas my brother is a titan beast.

Titans suck in pvp

Edited by Bisson Burger: 5/27/2015 10:40:57 AMYou just have to master their grenades. Lightning grenades are the only reason I use striker, just make sure you get them on a wall. A flash bang/ shotgun combo is also pretty viable strategy. Besides in the ToO, I find defenders better for crucible. Besides the magnetic grenades, You can put AoL drown right on top of the heavy ammo, or if you have Saint-15, you can put it in a hallway or doorway and have complete control over an area.

Pick better control jump. It's much better than increased height for crucible Imo.
-
This is old but again they're the best for pvp...
-
Pick the right perck in the sub classes
-
Fist of havok and shoulder charge r crazy good
-
I've leveled my Titan in clash only. Lv15 in like 6 hours
-
Lol I do better with my Titan than with my hunter
-
No they are the most powerful. Especially for the stupid Fist of Havoc that every one uses to take out one person
-
True that they may lack, but the power slam of the striker is hard to stop and the shield replenished you with an over shield, even though the shield can't take on as much damage, but all are still fun and effective in combay
-
Yeah dunno u might be not good in crucible but when im in titan i use suppresser grenade and go close and personal in their face with a shotty if not sniped with black hammer the lower the mag the higher output in crucible 😅
-
Definitely. All their abilities kind of suck for pvp
-
Worse than you think
-
The worse you are
-
Depends on the game type.
-
Striker for control and clash. Defender in rumble is amazing.
-
Worse. Titans are actually pretty good in Crucible
-
Titan is my fav in pvp because of titan smash and shoulder charge.
