1st legendary engram

I got my 1st legendary engram. It was legendary but it was a hunter helmet. I play warlock. :(

Ring0 cutter

The engrams lie. I've cashed in 5 or 6 and all but one was blue gear with less light points then what I had on. The other was 3 strange coins. I'm not sure but I think purple engrams are just level 20 gear.
