Clan Organization

Greetings Grimguards, we know that many of you want to represent Grimguard in-game by having "Grimguard" applied to your in-game nameplate and "GRIM" as your clan tag. Unfortunately Bungie applied a cap of only 100 to the number of clanmates recognized in-game for each group. The admins have agreed on a solution that will allow each and everyone of you to represent the Grimguard clan. To get around the cap of 100 we will organize the clan based around our squads: Crimson Star, Hell Dragon, Night Reaper, and Thunder Wolf. In order to keep the "Grimguard" name on each of your nameplates there will be a number added to the name that relates to a select squad. Each squad will receive upwards to ten groups starting with "Grimguard XX" where "XX" represents a number. Here is the breakdown: Crimson Star: Grimguard 01 - 10 Hell Dragon: Grimguard 11 - 20 Night Reaper: Grimguard 21 - 30 Thunder Wolf: Grimguard 31 - 40 The commanders of each squad will be responsible for creating your initial sub-clan group. For example, as Crimson Star commander I have created the Grimguard 01 group and I have set that as my PSN clan instead of the original Grimguard. So my in-game nameplate says "Grimguard 01". Once the Grimguard 01 sub-clan has reached capacity I will create a Grimguard 02 as the Crimson Star squad grows. Your commanders will follow this same procedure to make room for everyone. With this new method we have the potential to allow many more members into the Grimguard clan. To those members that were quick enough to set Grimguard as their clan, you have the option to keep the original "Grimguard" on your nameplate as you are considered the founders of representing our clan in-game. However, I do urge you to consider switching over to your squad-based sub-clan so that we all can easily recognize your squad just by looking at your in-game nameplate. The Grimguard group will still stay active as our central hub of communication here on Bungie.net. Regarding new members being recruited or wanting to join please be sure to join the Grimguard group here and then proceed to Grimguard.com to sign up and register a profile so you can receive a squad placement. Once you have been placed in a squad you will then join you respective sub-clan group also and set it as your PSN/XBL clan. If your sub-clan group has not been created yet please be patient. Stay tuned for announcements from your Squad Commanders regarding your sub-clan group.
