The truth about the Peter Pan series

Is that Peter Pan, Captain Hook and his crew, and the lost boys are all mentally unstable and/or insane. Just think about it for a second. Let's start off with captain hook. The original Peter Pan movie starts out at around the beginning of the 20th century. The golden age of piracy was around the 16th and 17th centuries. That means that Captain Hook has been stuck on the same ship, with the same crew, in the same ocean, and the same island with no female contact for centuries. As you can imagine, this can be excessively detrimental to the mind. So Hook must have been there long before Peter Pan. Once Peter Pan came along, Hook now had a purpose. The reason Hook never actually kills Peter, is because he is obsessed with him because he is the only human contact he has had in 100+ years other than his crew. He hunts him down with a furious purpose. Now we go to Peter. From what I've heard, Peter Pan came to Neverland around the mid-19th century. That means that by the first Peter Pan movie, he has been in Neverland for at least 40+ years. Since nothing in Neverland ever ages, Peter has been stuck on the cusp of puberty for decades while a horde of lonely, mentally unstable, pedophillic, and obsessive men on a ship mercilessly try to hunt him down. This with no doubt would lead Peter to engage in may combat scenarios with these men and eventually would end up killing one or more of them. As you can imagine, all these factors would be incredibly damaging to a child's mental health and development. All that paired up with being frozen in the beginnings of puberty can paint a pretty dark picture over the story of the Peter Pan movies. I just thought I'd share my thoughts on the matter. Discuss.
