WTF is the Cryptarch's problem?
The cryptarch is Pure Evil.
After HOURS of grinding I finally get a Primary Weapon Legendary Enegram and do you know what that asshole gave me?

9 RepliesHere is the part I don't understand (and mind you, I like to think I'm a pretty reasonable man) What's the point of a purple enegram giving you something different than a purple? They are rare enough as it is, why build in a sub rarity table to an already rare item? It almost feels like someone a Bungie thought it would be fun to be cruel :( Next weekend I should have enough motes to buy an exotic enegram from that dude but I'm afraid it has a 99% chance built in to be a blue. This is def the only thing that's bumming me out from the game.

1 Replyyeah i feel ya, i only had two legendarys from purple engrams, a pulse rifle (its pretty good though) and a hunter chest peace (I'M A -blam!-ING WARLOCK) but i literally taken +20 purple engrams and only goten 2 count em 2 legendarys from that, the rest turned into mats and strange coins/motes! i goten more legendarys from blue engrams (got a rocket, a warlock bond [witch was from FWC so i just threw it away) some titan gloves (once again I'm a warlock), i think bungie set it super low so we have to farm for out legendarys

Honestly I it wouldn't be worth it any other way. Dont get me wrong it sucks getting a blue or less off a legendary but i mean its only been a weekand the qq is insane. Its legendary for a reason. This game is gonna span years how are they going to keep our interest unless they throw us sone curves. I mean do you really wanna be level capped and donw with it all in a week? I think not. Personally i love how they are doing things now. I mean they got me so into the world im cursing their names every time i get a less than legendary out of an engram and the feeling is satisfying knowing that thats how much i love this world theyve made for us already. If it can take the place of other mmos ive played like this so soon i can only imagine where it'll all go in the future. Sorry went a little ranty. May the odds ever be in your favor Guardians

I would like to see the chance of a engram decoding into a lesser quality item removed, even if that means reducing the drop rate. I would rather get excited when a legendary engram drop knowing it can not become rare, than the utter disappointment of a horrible roll.

I must be really lucky then. I have only got one legendary engram, and it happened to be a legendary sniper rifle. All the other engrams I got that were blue resulted mainly in crappy green stuff, but occasionally I would get a strange coin.

I go crazy thinking I had some cool stuff for my Titan, and it's for another class, that makes me really sad... With other engrams I got blues and greens... Not even a Coin or Mote of Light... I hate him!

Ikr I'm a lv like 6 or 7 in cryptic I brought him like 2 leg primary's, legendary class mod, and legendary leg armor. What do I get for my efforts? 2 motes if light a strange coin and a uncommon hand canon lv 16. Like wtf I would rather legendary stuff for a class I don't have than a mote of light...
