yeah i feel ya, i only had two legendarys from purple engrams, a pulse rifle (its pretty good though) and a hunter chest peace (I'M A -blam!-ING WARLOCK) but i literally taken +20 purple engrams and only goten 2 count em 2 legendarys from that, the rest turned into mats and strange coins/motes! i goten more legendarys from blue engrams (got a rocket, a warlock bond [witch was from FWC so i just threw it away) some titan gloves (once again I'm a warlock), i think bungie set it super low so we have to farm for out legendarys

Think I've had like 15 legendary engrams and got nothing purple from them so I'm struggling with my luck there as well. But just looking at how easy it is to buy those things with some time and effort, I'd take the bunch of ascendant shards and strange coins I get with no complaints.
