Destiny: What You Love and Hate One Week In

The article that I linked here talks about how Destiny has so many things to love, but it also has a few things that you can grow to hate. However, even the author says that after playing for an ungodly number of hours, he can't stop playing. I definitely see myself in the same place. There are things I love about Destiny. There are also things I was disappointed with. What are your love and hates? How can the expansions make it better?

  • Barely scratched the surface of the game, not enough free time... But I'm in no rush to get anywhere fast or first :) Tons of fun and plenty to do. Beautiful visuals, fabulous headshots (or belly shots depending on your ennemy, lol) and game mechanics, music is to die for. Like the game. Hate the story delivery, not the story itself which is meant to be vague and episodic. The writing in Destiny is the only part I hate. Would like to be able to turn off all dialogue (Tower guys are OK, grumpy old Banshee-44 cracks me up, as well as the Cryptarch's lines) and play with the sounds of bullets, footsteps, grunts, explosion and the wonderful tale Marty O'Donnell scored.
