Bungies slow response to issues

There are a huge amount of players on all platforms experiencing extreme network issues, myself included. Now I don't know what the problem is...my nat is open and every other game played well but yet destiny gives me and many others a tour of the zoo. Time to start answering Bungie while the players are still interested.

  • I'm a bit late to the discussion, but this issue has affected. However, this issue has not nearly affected my as much as others it seems (might be worth mentioning I'm on XboxOne). With the first couple if weeks I experienced drops from games every now and then, but nothing that utterly deterred me from playing the game at all. All I would have to do was sign back in and it wouldn't happen again for at least another day or two. The patch to fix this might have been slow, however, it's something Bungie had to figure out to fix across 3 different platforms, which is a process that is fairly new to them. It is now evident that the patches have indeed worked, I haven't been dropped from a game in ages. Although they aren't as fast as light when it comes to fixing issues I appreciate that they still get the task done within reasonable time and that they continue to listen to their community. Just my 2 cents on the topic.

Kids these days! Have you not learned from the launch of every single popular videogame ever that network issues are usually caused by massive amounts of players clogging the network?

      • Bungie's best response most of the times is "We let the community do our work for us, deal with it" . That's what I got last time I was posting about issues with the game or other stuff.

      • Some public relations guy from Activision must have told them to ignore this problems for now. It's standard damage control that stepped in, you can see that clearly when you watch how Bungie acts since the release of the game. The forums are flooded with people who have connection problems and to the press, Bungie considers us as a "small minority of users". That's a standard phrase. Right now it's their priority to sell as many copies of the game as possible. Acknowledging problems with the games server would get in the way of this goal, so they blame everything and everyone else for all these problems. They haven't done anything about this since the beta. That's why I don't see them doing anything about in the near feature.

        • Stop being negative jeez haha have you done every strike? VoG? Reached current level cap? Ranked up to rank 3 in every faction done every bounty? Completed all missions on hard then lvl 22 difficulty then 24, 26 also have you formed a clan? Done all grims? Do 3 vs 3 with your friends? Done every patrol gotten all exotics? Gotten all the best crucible gear? PLEASE TELL ME if not i can just check your page? Oh haha your ONLY lvl 20 and your grim score is 990 and dude no light gear yet and oh you cant even do 1/3 end game content your either bad or just a negative ned #woo

          • man, i can't get anyone to fix anything where i live in 9 or 10 days. we are trying to get siding on our house, had 3 companies come out over the course of 3 months. still haven't received a quote after following up a number of times. how fast do you expect it can be done compared to how fast anything else is done?
