Rockstar should have waited until next gen to release their game. It was one of the most anticipated games of all time and it failed to deliver on multiple levels. The game still looks great, but you can see the 360 and PS3 struggle to render the textures and what not. The draw distance is also awful too as things are blurry when you zoom in on them with a Sniper Rifle from afar.
Not to mention GTA Online was overhyped, highly overhyped and is still plagued by bugs and cheaters. Rockstar could have worked more time on GTA Online if they didn't release on last gen. It could have easily been one of the best multiplayer modes ever if they had more time to work on it.
What are your thoughts?

Rockstar could have finished the PC port in that extra year too.

Edited by HUNTERxKILLER: 9/19/2014 12:21:18 AMThe reason they released on last gen is the same reason Titanfall, BF4, Watch Dogs, Destiny, and a bunch of other games released on both gens. The 360 and PS3 still have a larger player base and thus more people to buy the game.

Completely agree

My thoughts are that it makes sense to release it on every platform. Their goal is to make money.
-
They could have made it for next gen then just have easily done a delayed release for the previous gen. Taking the extra time to smooth out the wrinkles.
-
Well they could of done that but then they wouldn't have sold 35 million copies. It blows my mind that people don't understand that companies make games to make money not for people's convenience
