Dumbest Things About Your Schools

Mine is this stupid Edgenuity program. It's supposed to be a test for this quarter and it is the most retarded thing I've laid my eyes on. The "teachers" or the computer screen, don't teach you anything! Anyways, what do you dislike most about school?

  • At my high school, we had off-campus lunch since our school was so close to McDonald's and shit like that. My freshmen year was the best time for that because everyone could leave for lunch. I still envy the kids that lived right across the street. Anyways, Sophomore year comes and they regulate the off-campus lunch. They introduce these new tests called "ACES" which are basically quizzes on random shit. You take them in every class excluding PE(duh). If you pass all of your ACES, you get a sticker on your ID which you show at the security guards at the gate so you can leave. The stickers are a single color and they have a 4 digit number on them. Don't pass all of your ACES, you don't get a sticker and you stay on campus and go eat the disgusting cafeteria food or buy snacks from the snack bar we have there. Every quarter you take the ACES so they switch the color of the sticker after. I would always fail 1 ACE and pass the rest so that meant I couldn't leave. My friend would make fake stickers to put on our IDs and people we know so they can leave. Word got around school that my friend and I were supplying people with stickers. No teacher or security guard found out about it until some idiot kid used the wrong color for a sticker on his ID. He got his ID taken away and served lunch detention for a week. Our stickers weren't the best but they worked and when we heard that we kinda got scared but our entire Sophomore year we never got caught. Junior year came and we still did the same thing with the stickers. This time if you passed your CST Sophomore year(big test at the end of the year) with Proficient or higher, you get a gold sticker and you're good to go off campus the whole year. They still had the other colors for the stickers for people who pass their ACES. My friend and I decided to make gold stickers this time so we didn't have to change it every quarter. One of the guys I went to school with sold his gold sticker to some girl for $50... 50 mother-blam!-ing dollars. This was like drug dealing, but with stickers. We didn't end up making the gold stickers because we couldn't find the right color of gold at any store. We decided to keep making the regular colored ones and after a year and a half with fake stickers, we got caught and got in trouble. We both got referrals, they called our parents, and we had to stay in ISR(In School Retention) for the rest of the day. That still didn't stop us however, we eventually found the correct color of gold and we were good to go. Senior year came up and Seniors could leave for lunch all year without any hassles so we stopped making stickers. Underclassmen heard about us and what we did but still, we stopped. Gotta admit, it was fun cheating the system. It was easily flawed and we exposed the weakness to the majority of the school. There were so many people with fake stickers it was ridiculous. The best thing was for a whole entire year, the teachers and security didn't know about this.
