Reasons to go vegan.
Reasons to go vegan:
1. Animals have to live in a little cage for their whole life.
2. Millions of baby roosters are thrown in the grinder because they're useless.
3. Calves are taken away from their mum and slaughtered, so you can take the cows milk for yourself, this happens one time a year for each cow, to make sure they don't stop giving milk (they need to have calves to give milk)
4. As you can see on the image, meat industry causes global warming.
5. Because meat industry wastes so much farming grounds, veganism can stop world hunger.
6. The seas are almost empty because of overfishing, 90% of the catch is bycatch (also whales, sharks and turtles that are almost extinct) and the nettings destroy the coral reefs, that are needed for life on this earth.
7. There are kinds of food that give, almost just as much proteins ad meat does and proteins are the only thing meat gives you, if you don't believe me, look at oxes or gorillas, they're vegan and healthy, scientists also say meat causes cancer.
8. It's just wrong to let animals suffer just because you're afraid to try vegan.
If you still have a reason to not go vegan, say so.
If you don't, you should go vegan right now![spoiler]*hugs monkey*[/spoiler]

8 RepliesOr why you should support local family owned farms. Not only do you take a stand on animal cruelty but you also help support your local economy and create more jobs for your peers. Imo being vegan is a dumbass thing to do if you're doing it for those poor animals because we will never stop devouring them. If you want humane like conditions for animals, see the first two sentences.

1 ReplyVegans would eventually over-farm vast areas of land, killing the soil or overloading it with fertilizers and ruining the water supply. Fact: It is impossible for someone to go vegan and not announce it to the world. Think those animals have it rough? How about those people that work those fields to keep you loaded with soy farts? At least the animals are fed well and terminated humanely. The methods may seem gruesome, but they're instantaneous. You don't have to be a vegan to not eat crappy food or cruelty-free.

20 RepliesThis is probably one of the most ignorant posts I've ever read. You need to seriously do some more research before you alter your lifestyle like that. You for damn sure need to do some more research before you start cramming your lifestyle choice down other peoples throats. Almost every little "fact" you ramble off in that list is blatantly made up. Your little info graphic is cute and everything but do you honestly think there is any scientific evidence that exactly 19% of global warming is caused by meat packing. There isn't even any scientific evidence that "climate change" as it is now being referred to, is caused by humans at all. Protein is all you need from meat? Are you kidding me? Talk to a nutritionist or at least your doctor about that one. Fishing nets are destroying the reefs? I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on this subject by any means but as an avid diver I have watched several documentaries on the dangers to our natural reefs and not once were fishing nets ever mentioned. Logging (which causes silt run off into the ocean) and "climate change" were the biggest culprits. I'm going to cut this short because I've probably exceeded your attention span and that of the internets. Myself and 99% of the population will continue to consume and enjoy eating meat, as the universe intended us to.

15 RepliesI know this is a troll post, but im going to respond seriously. I live in Norfolk Va, home to Peta HQ. We have a high density of vegans here. And knowing them has solidified thefact i will never go vegan. They have to take so many suppliments, and have a hard time staying at a healthy weight, let alonetrying not to eat junk food, all because fo being vega. Anddont even let me count the healthissues they deal with due to mineral andvitamin deficiences, contraryu to popular belief, you cant really suppliment over 50-55% of your needs in pill form. Going vegan is against the nature of the beast, we are omnivores. Im not saying eat meat with every meal, but the protien is good for you.

6 RepliesSeriously listen to this post. While you may say well what the hell about my bacon, he speaks the literal truth. I've been a vegan for almost a year and let me tell you, the food tastes amazing. Black Bean Veggie Burgers are the shit, making some really dank vegetable and bean and rice mixture is always pleasuring when you have a sauce to add!! Killing and consuming an animal is consuming negative energies that is bad for your soul. Sure plants have feelings but if you mentally tell the plant that it is helping you live then it will not feel bad. Not to mention the animals you eat are fed GMO crops, most are injected with chemicals to make them produce more meat or milk. This also ties into GMO foods which has been tampered with and in scientific studies has been shown to develop brain tumors in the animals it was tested on, the animals end up dying from massive tumors yet these foods are ruled as safe for human consumption. Even if you go vegan your eating conventional and GMO plants that have been doused with pesticides and numerous other harmful chemicals, that's why organic plants and foods are the best to eat.
