This is not about public or proximity chat. I'd like to see clan chat. Where everyone in the Clan can optionally join a clan 'master' chat room, or clan sub-rooms when they are logged in. At the moment I can only talk to people I am fireteamed with in the clan. Thoughts on how it might work: Would override fireteam chat for all fireteam members (at the determination of the fireteam leader) so that e.g. two sets of fireteams can still be talking in a clan sub-room even if they are doing 2 completely different things. e.g. when I log in, I can choose to join the clan master chatroom and talk to everyone who has also jumped in there, regardless of where they are or what they are doing. e.g. two fireteams, both fireteam leaders choose to join clan sub chatroom #5, and so all fireteam members are talking together. e.g. two fireteams, both fireteam leaders choose to join clan 'master' chatroom, and so all fireteam members are still talking away together and everyone else in the clan. doubt i'm the only one who has thought of this, soz if already suggested
