...and while not very elegant, I am very pleased by the solution, since it means I didn't have to give anyone more money! Screw you Turtle Beach and Sony for making people buy cables to use their old headsets with next gen consoles, shame on you. I found my crappy single ear bud + crappy mic that came with the PS4. I was originally turned off by this little thing and stuffed it into my closet, since I paid a decent chunk for my TB x12's, and figured I could just find a way to use them. But alas, without the exact right 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter, my headset mic does not work. Sound comes in fine, just couldn't talk. So, my solution: Turtle Beach headphones go _directly_ into the TV, so Destiny's sound comes in both ears with quality. The single chat earbud goes _underneath_ the big headset phones (surprisingly comfortable!) and the mic hangs just below it. Not the greatest setup, but at least now you won't have to be asking yourself, "Did Leogan not get those instructions I gave in Fireteam chat, or does he just suck?" The answer will now be much clearer, haha.
